CARING RELATIONSHIPS, HEALTHY YOU POSTER (LGBTQ) HARD COPY AND PDF
The goal of this poster in tandem with the Caring Relationships Safety Card is to be both a survivor-centered resource and a useful conversation starter for health care providers who are doing universal education around healthy relationships and assessing for violence specifically with LGBQ people or in LGBTQ health settings.

The newly revised Reproductive Health safety card, Did You Know Your Relationship Affects Your Health?, was developed for family planning and reproductive health settings. Intentionally designed for discretion this 4-panel double sided 3.5″ x 8″ resource folds down to 3.5″ x 2″. This business card-sized tool prompts patients to consider whether they are in a healthy relationship or have experienced reproductive coercion—forced sex, birth control sabotage, unwanted pregnancy, or violence—by an intimate partner.

HEALTHY MOMS, HAPPY KIDS PEDIATRIC SAFETY CARD (HARD COPY AND PDF)
Healthy Moms, Happy Kids is a safety card for moms that pediatric health care providers can distribute as part of routine care. In addition to providing safety resources for women, this tool also functions as a prompt for pediatric health care providers by providing quick phrases to improve discussions with women about the impact of domestic violence on their parenting and children.
The PDF download file includes the both the English and Spanish safety card files.
IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP AFFECTING YOUR HEALTH? GENERAL HEALTH SAFETY CARD (HARD COPY AND PDF)
The General Health safety card features 10 panels, 5 panels each side, and folds up to the size of a business card (3.5″ x 2″) for discretion. Designed for women receiving health care services, the card helps women recognize how their relationship impacts their health and the lives of their children, in addition to providing information on safety planning and hotlines for support. This tool identifies specific health problems that may be associated with chronic stress from an abusive relationship and offers women guidance on how to talk to their children or a trusted friend about their experience.
JUST BREATHE: A GUIDE TO WELLNESS BROCHURE (OHIO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE NETWORK) PDF ONLY
Just Breathe: A Guide to Wellness is a present-focused resource that helps survivors attain mastery and safety from trauma (including symptoms of PTSD) and emotional distress by emphasizing coping skills, grounding techniques, and education. It was designed for anyone who has experienced trauma, and for advocates to use with survivors. Futures Without Violence has been given permission to disseminate the PDF version of this resource only. This brochure is available in English as a PDF download only.

SAFE HOMES, SAFE BABIES PERINATAL SAFETY CARD (HARD COPY AND PDF)
Safe Homes, Safe Babies is a safety card for women that perinatal health care providers can distribute to patients. In addition to providing safety resources for women, this tool also functions as a prompt for perinatal health care providers by providing quick phrases to improve discussions with women about the impact of domestic violence on their parenting and children.

THE AMAZING BRAIN: TRAUMA AND THE POTENTIAL FOR HEALING
The Amazing Brain series of booklets is designed to educate parents and caregivers about early brain development, the effects of trauma on the brain, and the potential for the brain to heal and grow in order to help to prevent the physical, mental, behavioral, and cognitive effects of early trauma. The Health Federation of Philadelphia (formerly The Institute of Safe Families) has created four “Amazing Brain” booklets, written at a fifth grade level, to educate parents about brain development. Pediatricians can use these resources with Anticipatory Guidance. Child-serving organizations can also use them with their constituents. These booklets are being used throughout the U.S. and Canada.
